Navy Room

The Navy was also born during the Independence period of time when José María García de Toledo was President of the Supreme Board of Cartagena, and who created the General Command of the Navy in 1810 which was commanded by Captain Juan Nepomuceno Eslava.

Colombian military history on the sea is explained through scale model ships and vessels. It is shown a collection of naval elements such as a rudder, naval telegraph, compasses, bells, navigation lamps, uniforms, diving suits, and torpedoes.
